Janis Hackenberg, der 21-jährige Running Back, wird auch in der neuen Saison auf der Waldau für Stuttgart Surge auflaufen.
Statement Janis Hackenberg: „Ich freue mich sehr, dieses Jahr wieder bei Stuttgart Surge zu spielen, und mich weiter in der besten Liga Europas beweisen zu dürfen. Ich liebe die Stimmung im Team und den neuen Coaching Staff. Selber Name, neues Team. Ich freue mich riesig ein Teil davon sein zu dürfen. Meine Ziele für dieses Jahr sind definitiv einige Siege und Touchdowns einzufahren und natürlich mich nicht zu verletzen.“
Hackenberg begann seine Karriere 2019 bei den Neu-Ulm Spartans. 2021 spielte der 1,85m große und ca. 95kg schwere Running Back für die U19 der Stuttgart Scorpions. In der letzten Saison spielte Hackenberg seine erste Saison für Stuttgart Surge in der European League of Football. Nun setzt er seine noch junge Karriere auf der Waldau fort.

Statement Janis Hackenberg: “I am very excited to be back with Stuttgart Surge this year and to continue to prove myself in the best league in Europe. I love the atmosphere in the team and the new coaching staff. Same name, new team. I am very happy to be a part of it. My goals for this year are to win games and score touchdowns and of course not to get injured.”
Hackenberg began his career in 2019 with the Neu-Ulm Spartans. In 2021, the 1.85m tall and approx. 95kg heavy running back played for the Stuttgart Scorpions U19. Last season, Hackenberg played his first season for Stuttgart Surge in the European League of Football. Now he is continuing his young career on the Waldau.
