Bei den Honors der European League of Football am Vorabend des Championship Games 2025 ist der Co-Defensive Coordinator und Assistant Head Coach Johannes Brenner zum Assistant Coach of Year 2025 gekürt worden.
Den Preis nahm Coach Brenner zusammen mit Co-Defensive Coordinator Cody Pastorino entgegen. Coach Brenner und Coach Pastorino leiten gemeinsam die Surge-Defensive an und sind beide gleichermaßen für die herausragende Defensivleistungen der Stuttgarter in dieser Saison verantwortlich.
Head Coach Jordan Neuman: "Dass Coach Brenner und Coach Pastorino in den letzten drei Jahren als Co-Defense Coordinators für die Stuttgart Surge gearbeitet haben, war ein wesentlicher Teil unseres Erfolgs. Diese beiden Männer sind nicht nur zwei der besten Football-Experten in ganz Europa, sondern auch großartige Anführer und Lehrer. ich bin so dankbar für ihre Arbeit und freue mich für beide, dass sie diese wohlverdiente Auszeichnung erhalten."
Johannes Brenner and Cody Pastorino are Assistant Coaches of the Year 2025!
On the eve of the 2025 Championship Game, at the European League of Football Honors, Co-Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach Johannes Brenner was named Assistant Coach of the Year for 2025.
Coach Brenner accepted the award alongside Co-Defensive Coordinator Cody Pastorino. Coach Brenner and Coach Pastorino jointly lead the Surge defense and are equally responsible for Stuttgart's exceptional defensive performances this season.
Jordan Neuman: "Having Coach Brenner and Coach Pastorino working side by side as Co-Defense Coordinators the last three years for the Stuttgart Surge has been a major part of our success. These two men are not only some of the best football minds in all of Europe but great leaders and teachers as well.
