Am kommenden Sonntag empfängt die Stuttgart Surge die Fehérvár Enthroners zum nächsten Heimspiel der Saison 2025 in der European League of Football (ELF). Kickoff ist um 13:00 Uhr im GAZi-Stadion auf der Waldau. Nach einem intensiven Auswärtsspiel am vergangenen Sonntag in Unterhaching gegen die Munich Ravens will die Surge vor heimischer Kulisse wieder ein Statement setzen – mit voller Konzentration, Energie und dem Ziel: Heimsieg.
Die Surge geht mit einer klaren Mission in dieses Spiel: die starke Leistung aus den vergangenen Wochen bestätigen und wichtige Punkte im Playoff-Rennen sammeln. Es soll zurück auf die Erfolgsspur gehen! Die Mannschaft von Head Coach Jordan Neuman hat in allen Mannschaftsteilen trotz der Niederlage Qualität bewiesen – jetzt geht es darum, diese konstant aufs Feld zu bringen. Vor allem die Defense und die explosive Offense um Quarterback Reilly Hennessey sollen den Ton angeben.
Die Fehérvár Enthroners aus Ungarn, die zum ersten Mal seit ihrer Gründung 2023 gegen die Stuttgart Surge spielen, konnten in dieser Saison bisher noch keinen Sieg einfahren – dennoch ist das Team keinesfalls zu unterschätzen. Mit der Verpflichtung von Jalen Dennis haben sie sich zuletzt gezielt verstärkt: Der US-amerikanische Defensive Back war zuletzt in der Austrian Football League (AFL) aktiv, wo er nicht nur zum Defensive Player of the Year, sondern auch zum MVP des Championship Games gewählt wurde. Damals führte er die Liga mit 11 Interceptions, 67 Tackles und 7 Pass Breakups an – und hatte entscheidenden Anteil am ersten Meistertitel seines Teams. Dennis spielte zuvor am Carthage College und an der Missouri Southern State University (MSSU), war mehrfacher Conference-Honoree und drei Jahre lang Team-Captain. Mit seiner Erfahrung soll er der Secondary der Enthroners sofort Stabilität verleihen – und könnte am Sonntag eine Schlüsselrolle gegen das Passspiel der Surge einnehmen. Auch die Reaktivierung vom Enthroners-Starting QB Brock Domann verstärkt das Team ungemein. Bei seinem Einstand vergangene Woche gegen die Wroclaw Panthers, gegen die die Ungarn 24:19 verloren, erzielte Domann drei Touchdowns.
Neben Spannung auf dem Rasen dürfen sich die Fans wieder auf ein Football-Erlebnis für die ganze Familie freuen – am Family Gameday der Stuttgart Surge.

The Stuttgart Surge will host the Fehérvár Enthroners next Sunday for their next home game of the 2025 season in the European League of Football (ELF). Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. at the GAZi-Stadion auf der Waldau. After an intense away game last Sunday in Unterhaching against the Munich Ravens, the Surge are looking to make a statement in front of their home crowd. They are fully focused and energized, with one goal in mind: a home win.
The Surge are entering this game with a clear mission: to build on their strong performances of the past few weeks and earn valuable points in the playoff race. Their goal is to get back on the road to success! Despite the loss, Head Coach Jordan Neuman's team has demonstrated talent across the board — now they must consistently bring this talent onto the field. Above all, the defense and explosive offense led by quarterback Reilly Hennessey should set the tone.
The Fehérvár Enthroners from Hungary, who are playing against the Stuttgart Surge for the first time since they were founded in 2023, have yet to win this season - but the team should by no means be underestimated. With the signing of Jalen Dennis, they have recently strengthened themselves in a targeted manner: The US defensive back was last active in the Austrian Football League (AFL), where he was not only voted Defensive Player of the Year, but also MVP of the Championship Game. At the time, he led the league with 11 interceptions, 67 tackles and 7 pass breakups - and played a key role in his team's first championship title. Dennis previously played at Carthage College and Missouri Southern State University (MSSU), was a multiple conference honoree and team captain for three years. With his experience, he should provide immediate stability to the Enthroners' secondary - and could play a key role against the Surge's passing game on Sunday. The reactivation of Enthroners starting QB Brock Domann also strengthens the team immensely. Domann scored three touchdowns in his debut last week against the Wroclaw Panthers, against whom the Hungarians lost 24-19.
