„Football is family“ zeigt sich immer dann, wenn von der Sportart des American Football begeisterte Menschen zusammentreffen und eine gute Zeit miteinander verbringen. Dieser Familiencharakter des Sports, der insbesondere dann deutlich wird, wenn „Groß“ und „Klein“ zum Footballspielen zusammenkommen und die Jungen von den Erfahrenen lernen können, ist NFL-Profispieler und Stuttgart Surge Co-Owner Jakob Johnson sehr wichtig.
Wie kaum eine andere Sportart vermittelt der American Football die Förderung von Zielorientierung und Selbstbewusstsein sowie Teamwork und mentale Gesundheit, was für Jugendliche elementar ist. Die seit mehreren Jahren von ihm deshalb veranstalteten Jugendcamps, bei denen Kinder und Jugendliche einen Tag lang unter der Anleitung von Top-Coaches in verschiedenen Trainingseinheiten und Wettbewerben ihre footballerischen Fähigkeiten zeigen und weiterentwickeln können, sind daher für den Stuttgarter eine Herzensangelegenheit.
Auch 2024 wird der NFL-Profi in seiner Heimatstadt Stuttgart wieder ein Jugendcamp veranstalten, bei dem jugendliche Footballspieler/innen im Alter von 11 bis 18 Jahren intensiv trainiert und beraten werden und einen unvergesslichen Tag erleben werden. Dabei wird er, wie zuletzt beim äußerst erfolgreichen Jugendcamp 2023, von Stuttgart Surge Head Coach Jordan Neuman und dessen Coaching Staff tatkräftig unterstützt.
Das „Jakob Johnson Youth Camp 2024 powered by Stuttgart Surge“ wird am Samstag, den 06. April 2024 im Stadion Festwiese in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt stattfinden.
Die Tickets für Zuschauer/innen sowie Teilnehmer/innen sind ab sofort hier erhältlich! Die teilnehmenden Spieler/innen (11-18 Jahre) müssen ebenfalls dieses Formular ausfüllen!

Whenever people who are passionate about the sport of American Football get together and have a good time, it is always clear that "Football is Family". For NFL professional and Stuttgart Surge co-owner Jakob Johnson, this family nature of the sport is especially evident when "big" and "little" come together to play football and the young can learn from the experienced.
More than almost any other sport, American football promotes goal orientation and self-confidence as well as teamwork and mental health, which are essential for young people. That is why the Stuttgart native is so passionate about the youth camps he has been organizing for the past few years. These camps give kids the chance to spend a day under the guidance of top coaches to showcase and develop their skills in various training sessions and competitions.
In 2024, the NFL pro will once again host a youth camp in his hometown of Stuttgart, Germany. The camp will provide young football players between the ages of 11 and 18 with intensive coaching, mentoring, and an unforgettable day. He will be assisted by Stuttgart Surge Head Coach Jordan Neuman and his coaching staff, as he was during the highly successful 2023 camp.
The "Jakob Johnson Youth Camp 2024 powered by Stuttgart Surge" will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Festwiese Stadion in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt.
