Jens Buchmann wird neuer Analytics Coach bei Stuttgart Surge. Dort soll er die Arbeit von Friedemann Hees unterstützen.
Statement Jens Buchmann: „Friedemann Hees hat mich gefragt, ihn bei der Statistik und der Analyse von Stuttgart Surge zu unterstützen. In meiner Zeit mit den Wiesbaden Phantoms habe ich immer wieder Dinge von ihm gesehen, was er im Bereich der Analyse von Football-Spielen macht und wie er damit die Football Coaches unterstützt. Es ist schon lange ein Traum von mir dies in ähnlicher Weise zu tun. Und deshalb freut es mich sehr, mit dem Besten in diesem Bereich in der nächsten Saison zusammenarbeiten zu können und von ihm zu lernen. Ich freue mich aber auch mit dem Coaching Staff von Stuttgart Surge zusammenzuarbeiten und auch von diesen zu lernen.“
Buchmann spielte von 1996 bis 1997 für die Landau Tigers als Tight End. Von 2017 bis 2022 spielte er für die Flag Footballmannschaft der Wiesbaden Phantoms. Dort arbeitete er auch von 2019 bis 2022 als Statistics und Analytics Coach für die U-19 und die Herrenmannschaft in der GFL 2.
Jens Buchmann is joining Stuttgart Surge as a new Analytics Coach. There he will support the work of Friedemann Hees.
Statement Jens Buchmann: “Friedemann Hees asked me to support him with the statistics and analysis of Stuttgart Surge. In my time with the Wiesbaden Phantoms, I've always seen things from him in analysing football games and how he supports the football coaches with it. It's been a dream of mine for a long time to do this in a similar way. So, I'm very excited to be able to work with and learn from the best in that field next season. But I'm also looking forward to working with the Stuttgart Surge coaching staff and learning from them as well."
Buchmann played tight end for the Landau Tigers from 1996 to 1997. From 2017 to 2022, he played for the flag football team of the Wiesbaden Phantoms. He also worked there from 2019 to 2022 as statistics and analytics coach for the U-19 and the men's team in the GFL 2.
