Ohne den Support vieler freiwilliger Helfer läuft nichts bei Stuttgart Surge, egal ob es ums Equipment geht, den Gameday, das Team oder natürlich die Zuschauer. Der Support ist das, was die Mannschaft und die Menschen dahinter ausmacht und diese Hilfe ist ein wichtiger Part im American Football, denn Football is Family. Viel wichtiger ist diese Unterstützung jedoch im echten Leben, in Krisengebieten und in akuter Not. Deshalb sind wir besonders stolz, dass wir die Stuttgarter Hilfsorganisation STELP als Social Partner präsentieren und unterstützen können.
STELP steht dabei für STuttgart hELPs und ist eine zivile Hilfsorganisation, die sich für eine Welt stark macht, in der Kinder, Frauen und Männer, unabhängig von Herkunft, Alter, sexueller Orientierung oder politischer und religiöser Weltanschauung, frei von akuter Not und selbstbestimmt in Würde und Sicherheit leben und ihre Zukunft aus eigener Kraft nachhaltig gestalten können. STELP bietet allen eine Plattform, die sich mit Freude und innerhalb ihrer Möglichkeiten für soziale und gesellschaftliche Themen einsetzen und somit einen Beitrag für ein friedliches und faires Miteinander weltweit leisten. Gegründet wurde STELP im Jahr 2016 vom Stuttgarter Serkan Eren, der sich seither mit unermüdlichem Einsatz dem Projekt verschrieben hat und selbst tatkräftig mit anpackt.
Bei STELP wird viel Wert auf das Miteinander und auf Transparenz gelegt, gerade etwa beim Spendensystem. So gibt es unterschiedliche Spendenkassen und jeder kann selbst entscheiden, ob die Spenden direkt an die Hilfsprojekte gehen oder ob damit die Organisation und etwa Infrastruktur und Mitarbeiter unterstützt werden sollen. Im Rahmen der Transparenz-Maxime gibt STELP außerdem viele grundlegende Punkte des Unternehmens an, wie etwa an Tätigkeitsberichte oder Angaben zur Mittelherkunft und -verwendung und trägt so zu einem offenen und besseren Verständnis der Organisation bei.
Stuttgart Surge ist sehr froh, dass wir Serkan und STELP eine weitere Bühne bieten können und werden STELP nicht nur auf den Ärmeln unserer Jerseys diese Saison repräsentieren und unterstützen. Wir freuen uns auf die Zusammenarbeit.
At Stuttgart Surge, nothing would work without the support of countless volunteers, no matter if it is about equipment, the gameday, the team or of course the spectators and fans. The support is the driving factor in keeping the team alive and defining the people behind it. Football is family, which is why this help is a very important part of the sport. However, any kind of support is much more important in our everyday lives, in crisis zones and areas of acute need, which is why we are immensely proud to present and support the Stuttgart-based aid organization STELP as our social partner.
STELP stands for STuttgart hELPs and is a civil aid organization that campaigns for a world in which children, women and men, regardless of origin, age, sexual orientation or political and religious ideology, can live free of acute need, self-determined in dignity and security and can shape their future sustainably through their own efforts. STELP offers a platform to all those who are joyfully commited to social and societal issues, therefore contributing to a peaceful and fair coexistence worldwide. In 2016, STELP was founded by Serkan Eren, who has since fully dedicated himself to the project with tireless efforts and who also actively lends a hand himself.
At STELP, a lot of value is placed on cooperation and transparency, especially in regards to donations. There are different donation funds and everyone can decide for themselves if their donations should contribute directly to an aid project or whether it should support the organization itself and be used for infrastructure or employees. As part of their transparency policy, STELP also discloses many basic points, such as reports on activities or information on origin and use of funds, thus contributing to an open and better understanding of the organization.
Stuttgart Surge is extremely happy to provide another platform for Serkan and STELP. We will not only represent and support STELP on our jersey sleeves this season and we are looking forward to the cooperation.
