Stuttgart Surge kann mit der Vertragsverlängerung von Runningback Kai Hunter eine weitere hochkarätige Personalie für das offensive Backfield bekanntgeben.

Der Runningback mit der Rückennummer 2 war in der letzten Saison ein elementarer Bestandteil des Stuttgarter Laufspiels und führte sein Team in der Regular Season 2023 mit 352 Rushing Yards an. Dabei erzielte er 3 Touchdowns. In den Playoffs kam Hunter auf 53 Yards und einen Touchdown. Im Durchschnitt erzielte er somit einen Raumgewinn von 4,51 Yards pro Versuch. Hunter ist nicht nur ein guter Läufer, er ist darüber hinaus auch ein zuverlässiger Ballfänger. In der Saison 2023 fing er neben seinen Rushing Yards auch Pässe für insgesamt 68 Yards.
Kai Hunter geht in seine zweite Saison bei der Stuttgart Surge und bestreitet seine insgesamt dritte Spielzeit in der European League of Football. Bevor er 2023 von der Surge unter Vertrag genommen wurde, spielte er 2022 für die Frankfurt Galaxy. Zuvor war er von 2010 bis 2021 für die Saarland Hurricanes aktiv. Seit 2022 spielt der Runningback zudem in der deutschen Football-Nationalmannschaft.
The Stuttgart Surge can announce another high-profile addition to the offensive backfield with the contract extension of runningback Kai Hunter.

The number 2 runningback was an integral part of Stuttgart's running game last season and led his team with 352 rushing yards in the 2023 regular season. He also scored 3 touchdowns. In the playoffs, Hunter rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 4.51 yards per attempt. Not only is Hunter a good runner, but he is also a reliable catcher. In addition to his rushing yards, he also caught passes for a total of 68 yards in the 2023 season.
Kai Hunter is entering his second season with the Stuttgart Surge and is playing his third season in the European League of Football. Before being signed by the Surge in 2023, he played for the Frankfurt Galaxy in 2022. Prior to that, he played for the Saarland Hurricanes from 2010 to 2021. The runningback has also played for the German national team since 2022.
