Die Neuzugänge bei Stuttgart Surge reißen auch kurz vor dem neuen Jahr nicht ab: Joshua Haas spielt 2023 für Stuttgart Surge.
Der 28 jährige begann seine Football Karriere bereits 2009 bei den Fighting Farmers Montabaur. Hier spielte er zunächst in der U19 bis 2012 ehe er zu den Seniors wechselte. 2013 wurde er zudem in die Jugendnationalmannschaft berufen. 2016 wechselte er dann zu den Wiesbaden Phantoms bevor er ab 2018 bei den Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns auflief bis 2022. Mit diesen gewann er zwei mal den German Bowl sowie zwei mal den CEFL Bowl. In der letzten Saison kam er bei acht spielen zum Einsatz und hatte dabei 19 Catches für 163 Yards und einen Touchdown.

The defensive backfield at Stuttgart Surge can welcome a new addition: Lasse Engel will play for Stuttgart Surge in 2023.
The 24-year-old defensive back is entering his eleventh football season with Surge. It all started for him in Stuttgart with the Scorpions from flag football to U16 and U19. He was also on the Baden Württemberg Allstate Team from 2013-2015. In 2016, the German-Danish was named to the Danish National Team and in 2017 was selected to Team Nordic, the Scandinavian All-Star Team. In 2018, he made the jump across the pond to San Diego State University and was able to win the New Mexico Bowl here with the Aztecs.
