Auf der Position des Wide Receiver Coaches gibt es einen Neuzugang: Joseph „Jojo“ Joyner.
Der Deutsch-Amerikaner spielte selbst viele Jahre als Wide Receiver. Zunächst in North Carolina an der Greene Central High School und dann am Guilford College. 2010 begann er in Deutschland bei den Franken Knights, wurde 2014 in die deutsche Nationalmannschaft berufen und wechselte 2016 zu den Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. Hier beendete er seine Karriere als Spieler nach dem Sieg des German Bowls 2017. Nahlos begann er seine Tätigkeit als Wide Receiver Coach bei den Unicorns aufzunehmen. Hier konnte er zwei German Bowls und zwei CEFL Championships gewinnen.
Statement Joseph Joyner: „Es ist immer eine schwierige Entscheidung, eine großartige Organisation zu verlassen. Wenn ich mir anschaue, was in Stuttgart und in der gesamten Liga aufgebaut wird, fühle ich mich geehrt und bin dankbar, diese Gelegenheit zu erhalten. Es ist immer toll zu sehen, wie das Spiel, das man liebt, wächst, und bisher hat die European League of Football hervorragende Arbeit geleistet, um dies in ganz Europa zu erreichen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, diese neue Herausforderung anzunehmen, und ich hoffe, dass ich mit dieser „Welle" (engl. Surge) neuer Begeisterung, die mich durchströmt, meinen Teil zum Erfolg hier in Stuttgart beitragen kann!“
There is a new addition at the position of Wide Receiver Coach: Joseph "Jojo" Joyner.
The German-American played many years as a wide receiver himself. First in North Carolina at Greene Central High School and then at Guilford College. In 2010 he started in Germany with the Franken Knights, was called up to the German national team in 2014 and moved to the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in 2016. Here he ended his playing career after winning the 2017 German Bowl. Seamlessly he began his work as a wide receivers coach with the Unicorns. Here he was able to win two German Bowls and two CEFL Championships.
