Das Linebacker Squad von Stuttgart Surge hat einen Neuzugang in seinen Reihen. Luca Siebert wechselt von den Leonberg Alligators zu Stuttgart Surge.
Siebert begann seine Karriere als Safety im alter von 16 Jahren. Auf dieser Position spielte er auch bislang ausschließlich. In der kommenden Saison wird er bei Surge als Linebacker eingesetzt.
Statement Luca Siebert: „Ich will der bestmögliche Football Spieler werden, der ich sein kann und Surge ist das Team, dass mir das möglich macht.Es ist eine große Challenge von Safety auf LB zu switchen, doch ich werde mein bestes dafür geben. Ich hoffe natürlich trotzdem auch als Safety eingesetzt zu werden, da ich mein Leben lang DB gespielt habe und erwarte eine Hybrid Funktion eventuell auch als Nickelback. Ich freue mich auf die Zusammenarbeit und Zukunft mit dem neuen Team!“
Siebert ist der vierte bestätigte Linebacker der Saison 2023 und wird von den sehr erfahrenen LB-Coaches Daniel McCray und David Zeller trainiert.
The linebacker squad of Stuttgart Surge has a new addition to its ranks. Luca Siebert moves from the Leonberg Alligators to Stuttgart Surge.
Siebert started his career as a safety at the age of 16. On this position he played also so far exclusively. In the coming season he will be used as a linebacker for Surge.
Statement Luca Siebert: "I want to be the best football player I can be and Surge is the team that makes that possible for me.It's a big challenge to switch from safety to LB, but I will do my best to make it possible. I hope to be used as a safety as well, of course, because I have played DB all my life and expect a hybrid function possibly as a nickelback. I look forward to working with the new team in the future!“
Siebert is the fourth confirmed linebacker for the 2023 season and is coached by highly experienced LB coaches Daniel McCray and David Zeller.
