Die Suche nach einem neuen Übungsleiter in Stuttgart ist erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Jordan Neuman kommt in Doppelfunktion als Head Coach und Offensive Coordinator zu Surge und soll dem Team die langersehnten Siege bringen. Neuman wechselt vom frisch gekürten GFL-Champion Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in die Landeshauptstadt und kann eine beeindruckende Vita im deutschen sowie europäischen Football vorweisen.
Nach einer sieglosen Saison in der European League of Football war klar, dass sich bei Stuttgart Surge einiges ändern musste. Zuletzt wurde schon die Umstrukturierung im Front Office bekannt gegeben, nun ist der nächste Schritt getan und die wichtigste Position wurde neu besetzt. Mit Jordan Neuman konnten die Schwaben dabei einen Coach verpflichten, der die Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns Anfang Oktober zur fünften Meisterschaft in der GFL geführt hat. Während Stuttgart das Jahr ohne Sieg abschloss, konnte Neuman sein Team ungeschlagen durch die Saison führen. Dies ist für ihn jedoch keine Seltenheit, schließlich hat er seit seinem Amtsantritt im Oktober 2016 kein einziges Spiel in der Regular Season der GFL verloren. Auch in der CEFL konnte er in den letzten beiden Jahren die Unicorns zum Titel führen. Insgesamt verlor er in fünf Saisons als Head Coach der Einhörner lediglich zwei Spiele, die German Bowls der Spielzeiten 2019 und 2021. Die unglaubliche Gesamtbilanz seiner Amtszeit lautet: 73 Spiele, 71 Siege, 2 Niederlagen, 5 x Meister der GFL Süd, 3 x German-Bowl-Champion, 2 x CEFL-Champion.
Jordan Neuman: Der gebürtige US-Amerikaner stammt aus Fort Worth, Texas, wo er an der Western Hills High School mit dem American Football begann. Von 2001 bis 2004 spielte er an der McMurry University als Quarterback, bevor er ein Jahr später nach Deutschland zu den Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns wechselte. Dort war er von Beginn an auch in der Jugendarbeit des Vereins tätig und 2008 beendete er schließlich seine aktive Karriere, um sich voll und ganz auf die Traineraufgaben zu konzentrieren. In den nächsten zwei Jahren koordinierte er die Offense der Unicorns, ehe er 2011 nach Österreich zu den Vienna Vikings wechselte. Dort gewann er mit dem Team zwei Mal die österreichische Meisterschaft sowie einen Eurobowl. 2014 kehrte er zurück nach Schwäbisch Hall. Hier war er abermals als Offensive Coordinator tätig und unterstützte die Jugendarbeit. Im selben Jahr begann er zusätzlich als Quarterback-Coach der deutschen Nationalmannschaft und gewann mit dem Team die Goldmedaille bei der Europameisterschaft. Im Oktober 2016 trat er schließlich in die Fußstapfen von Vereinslegende Siegfried Gehrke und wurde Head Coach der Unicorns. Mit den Einhörnern startete er eine Siegesserie und konnte seine ersten 50 Spiele in Folge gewinnen, bevor er ausgerechnet im German Bowl 2019 erstmals als Verlierer vom Platz ging. Nach der coronabedingten Absage der Saison 2020 wurde er in der folgenden Spielzeit wieder Vizemeister. Zusätzlich wurde er im März 2021 hauptverantwortlicher Bundestrainer der Nationalmannschaft. 2021 gewann er mit seinem Team die Central European Football League und konnte das Kunststück in der diesjährigen Saison wiederholen. Nach dem Gewinn des German Bowls 2022 schließt er sich nun also Stuttgart Surge an, um das Team in die Erfolgsspur zu führen.

Stuttgart Surge has successfully completed his search for a new head coach. Jordan Neuman joins the Surge as head coach and offensive coordinator and is supposed to bring the long-awaited victories back to Stuttgart. Neuman comes from the newly crowned GFL champion Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns to the state capital and has an impressive resume in German and European football.
After a winless season in the European League of Football, it was clear that Stuttgart Surge needed to make some big changes. The restructuring of the front office was announced recently and now the team has taken the next step and took care of the most important position. With Jordan Neuman, the Swabians were able to sign a coach who has led his team, the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, to their fifth GFL championship in early October. While the Surge finished the season without a win, Neuman has accomplished the exact opposite with the Unicorns and carried them to a perfect season. This is no rarity for him, however. After all, he has not lost a single game in the regular season of the GFL since taking over in October 2016. In the last two seasons, he also managed to win the Central European Football League with Schwäbisch Hall. In total, he only lost two games in five seasons as head coach of the Unicorns, the 2019 and 2021 German Bowls. The outrageous overall record of his tenure: 73 games, 71 wins, 2 losses, 5x champion of the GFL South, 3x German Bowl champion, 2x CEFL champion.
Jordan Neuman: The native of Fort Worth, Texas started playing American football at Western Hills High School. From 2001 to 2004, he played quarterback for the McMurry University before moving to Germany a year later to join the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. There he was also immediately involved in working for the club's youth program. In 2008, he called time on his active career to fully concentrate on coaching duties. He was offensive coordinator of the Unicorns for the next two years until moving to Austria to join the Vienna Vikings in 2011. Together with the Vikings he won two Austrian championship as well as one Eurobowl. He returned to the Unicorns in 2014 where he was again active in the same positions as before. He additionally started as the quarterback coach of the German national team in the same year and won the gold medal with the team at the European Championships. In 2016, he followed in the footsteps of club legend Siegfried Gehrke and became head coach of the Unicorns. His starting run with the team was incredible as he won his first 50 games in a row before losing for the first time, of all games, the 2019 German Bowl. After the cancellation of the 2020 season due to the Coronavirus, he was runner-up again the following season. He also became the national team's head coach in March 2021. The same year, he won the CEFL with the Unicorns and was able to repeat the feat in 2022. Now, after bringing back the German Bowl to Schwäbisch Hall this year, he joins Stuttgart Surge to lead the team to success.
