Im Zuge der Neustrukturierung des Ligasystems der European League of Football für die Saison 2025 wurden bereits letzte Woche die neuen Divisions vorgestellt. Stuttgart Surge wird nächste Saison in der West Division antreten und dort gegen die Cologne Centurions, Frankfurt Galaxy und Paris Musketeers spielen.
Am heutigen Montag hat die ELF die Inter-Divisional Games angekündigt. Die Surge wird gegen jeweils ein Team aus den drei anderen Divisions North, East und South sowohl ein Heim- als auch ein Auswärtsspiel bestreiten.
Im Duell North Division vs. West Division wird es erstmalig in der Geschichte der European League of Football zu Aufeinandertreffen zwischen den Hamburg Sea Devils und der Stuttgart Surge kommen.
Aus der East Division werden die Fehérvár Enthroners aus dem ungarischen Székesfehérvár gegen die Stuttgart Surge antreten.
Das ereignisreiche Süddeutschland-Derby wird auch 2025 weiterhin Bestand haben, denn als Vertreter der South Division werden sich die Munich Ravens gegen die Stuttgart Surge messen.
Damit stehen die Matchups für die Regular Season der Saison 2025 fest.
Inter-Divisional Games 2025: Surge against Hamburg, Fehérvár and Munich!
As part of the restructuring of the European League of Football's league system for the 2025 season, the new divisions were unveiled last week. Stuttgart Surge will play in the West Division next season, where they will face Cologne Centurions, Frankfurt Galaxy and Paris Musketeers.
Today, Monday, the ELF announced the inter-divisional games. The Surge will play a home and away game against a team from each of the other three divisions, North, East and South.
In the North Division vs. West Division duel, the Hamburg Sea Devils and the Stuttgart Surge will meet for the first time in the history of the European League of Football.
In the East, the Fehérvár Enthroners from Szekesfehérvár in Hungary will face the Stuttgart Surge.
The eventful Southern German derby will continue in 2025, as the Munich Ravens will represent the South Division against the Stuttgart Surge.
The matchups for the 2025 regular season are now set.
