Another addition to the offensive line as Sascha Beck will play for Stuttgart Surge in 2023

After the signings of Luca Jokiel and Benhur Ayra, there is another new addition to the offensive line: Sascha Beck comes from the Saarland Hurricanes to Stuttgart Surge and will be one of the protectors of quarterback Reilly Hennessey in 2023.

Statement Sascha Beck: "I decided to join Stuttgart Surge because I am convinced by the coaches. My goal is to help the team and to get the best out of myself and the players. Let's see the results at the end of the season. I am convinced that it will be a good season because the whole organization is working very hard.”

Beck began playing American football in his hometown of Saarbrücken in 2011 with the Saarland Hurricanes U19 team. He had a perfect season with the junior team in 2013 and won the Junior Bowl title. He then made the jump to the Seniors in 2014 and always remained loyal to the Hurricanes. In 2017, the team got relegated to the GFL 2 and couldn’t find its way back to the GFL until 2021.

Beck is taking on a completely new challenge for the upcoming European League of Football season, changing teams for the first time ever. By the way, the Saarbrücken veteran is not a pure O-lineman, as his athleticism also allows him to play the tight end position.
