Der 30-jährige Linebacker Thomas Frach wird in der neuen Saison die Defense von Stuttgart Surge verstärken. Frach spielt schon seit 2006 American Football und lief zuletzt für die Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns auf.
Statement Thomas Frach: „Ich habe meine Football-Karriere unter dem Stuttgarter Fernsehturm begonnen und konnte jahrelang auf höchstem Niveau in Deutschland spielen! Aber ich bin noch nicht fertig! Ich freue mich darauf, ein Teil von Stuttgart Surge zu werden und mich weiterhin auf diesem Niveau zu beweisen und ein Teil dieser Organisation zu sein! Dieses Jahr werden wir die Playoffs aufmischen! #LFG“
Der 1,90m große und ca. 115kg schwere Frach begann seine Karriere 2006 in der Jugend von den Danub Hammers. Während seiner Zeit dort wurde er 2008 der MVP der B-Jugend Auswahl. 2009 schloss er sich der Jugend der Stuttgart Scorpions an, wo er ab der Saison 2011 für die Herrenmannschaft spielte. In den Jahren 2010 und 2011 wurde er Defense MVP der Jugendländerturniere. Ab 2018 spielte Frach bis 2021 für die Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. Dort gewann er 2018 den German Bowl und 2021 den Central European Football League Bowl. Nun kehrt der erfahrene Linebacker zurück nach Stuttgart, um für die Surge zu spielen.
The 30-year-old linebacker Thomas Frach will strengthen the defense of Stuttgart Surge in the new season. Frach has been playing American football since 2006 and previously played for the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns.
Statement Thomas Frach: “I started my football career under the TV tower in Stuttgart and was able to play at the highest level in Germany for years! But I'm not done yet! I'm excited to become a part of the Stuttgart Surge and continue to prove myself at this level and be a part of this organization! This year we will mix up the playoffs! #LFG”
The 1.90m tall and approx. 115kg heavy Frach started his career in 2006 in the youth of the Danub Hammers. During his time there, he became the MVP of the B-youth selection in 2018. In 2009, he joined the Stuttgart Scorpions youth team, where he played for the men's team as of the 2011 season. In 2010 and 2011, he was the Defense MVP of the youth national tournaments. From 2018, Frach played for the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns until 2021. There he won the German Bowl in 2018 and the Central European Football League Bowl in 2021. Now the experienced linebacker returns to Stuttgart to play for the Surge.
