Mit dem 30-jährigen Maximilian Merwarth kommt ein erfahrener Full Back zu Stuttgart Surge. Merwarth spielte zuvor für die New Yorker Lions in der GFL und kann außerdem als Tight End spielen. Er kann vier German Bowl und vier Eurobowl Titel mit den New Yorker Lions vorweisen.
Statement Maximilian Merwarth: „Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, dieses Jahr für die Surge zu spielen, weil ich gerne auf die Pauke haue.“
Der 1,85m große und ca. 108kg schwere Merwarth begann seine Karriere 2013 bei den Suttgart Scorpions. In den folgenden neun Saisons spielte er von 2014 bis 2022 für die New Yorker Lions in der GFL. Nun kehrt Merwarth zurück nach Stuttgart, um in der Saison 2023 für die Surge zu spielen.
With 30-year-old Maximilian Merwarth, an experienced full back joins the Stuttgart Surge. Merwarth previously played for the New Yorker Lions in the GFL and can also play as a Tight end. He has four German Bowl and four Eurobowl Titles to his credit with the New York Lions.
